Our Everyday English and Maths courses are designed for learners who need to cover the basics in English and maths. This will include those who have a mild to moderate learning disability and/or difficulty. They are also suitable for adults with mental health difficulties or those who feel they need extra support to learn. We provide additional support for learning only and each class has a teaching assistant as well as the tutor.
The provision is designed to enable all learners to have access to learning that is individualised, challenging and meets learners’ needs. Learners will be given the opportunity to progress to higher levels if appropriate. Learners need to have a good level of understanding and be able to follow instructions. All learners have an interview and assessment before joining the course to check it is right for them.
We apologise for any disruption to your learning as a result of the snow!
